titleOfInvention Cosmetic material and its production
abstract PURPOSE:A cosmetic material for nail polish or the like that is made by mixing an oily base material with a colorant powder with pigment particles uniformly adsorbed on the surface, which is prepared by grinding an inorganic pigment and an organic pigment thoroughly through a dry process, thus preventing color segregation. CONSTITUTION:An inorganic pigment such as titanium oxide, zinc oxide, zirconium oxide or chromium oxide and an organic pigment such as tar pigment are mixed and ground through a dry process to prepare a colorant powder with organic pigment particles uniformly adsorbed on the surface of the inorganic particles. The resultant colorant powder is mixed with an oily base material to give the objective cosmetic material. The average particle size of the organic pigment is preferably 1/1,000-1/10 of that of the inorganic pigment. EFFECT:It causes no sedimentation of colorant and color segregation and the treatment process is simple. USE:Oily foundation, lip stick or cheek rouge.
