titleOfInvention Ultraviolet water sterilizer
abstract PURPOSE: To improve UV transmittance and prevent the deterioration by UV rays using polvilyidene fluoride or a tetrafluoroethylene-ethylene copolymer for the blank material of transparent walls isolating water in a water sterilizer provided with said transparent walls and UV source provided on the side opposite from water by way of the transparent walls in-between and irradiating UV rays to water. n CONSTITUTION: The water to be treated is introduced through a manihold pipe 3b and is properly distributed to the inside of tubular transparent walls 1. While this water passes through the inside of the walls 1, it is sterilized by receiving the UV rays radiated from the sterilizing lamps 5 disposed on the outside of the walls 1, and is removed as sterilized water through a manifold pipe 3a. Polyvinylidene fluoride or a tetrafluoroehtylene-ethylene copolymer permitting good transmission of 200W300nm region UV rays of high sterilizing power is used as the blank material for the walls 1. These walls are not deteriorated by UV rays and make sticking of stains difficult. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
