titleOfInvention Decorative product and preparation thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To enhance color tone, transparent feeling, gloss or the like of the decorative product by curing a room temp curable resin composition based on an unsaturated polyester resin or the like on a undercoating of the decorative product in a desired decorative body shape. n CONSTITUTION: 1W10pts.wt. pigment is mixed with 100pts.wt. transparent unsaturated polyester resin by stirring to obtain a transparent resin with a color such as red, blue or the like and, to the resulting colored resin, a room temp curing catalyst is added and stirring and degassing are carried out under vacuum to prepare a resin composition. The aforementioned prepared resin 2 is poured on an undercoating surface 1-a of an undercoat 1 having gold color, silver color or the like and, by utilizing surface tension thereof corresponding to a pouring amount of the resin 2, the resin 2 is cured so as to posses a built-up finish surface 2-a to obtain a decorative product of which the undercoat 1 and the resin 2 are integrated. Thereby, when the decorative product is looked from a surface thereof, brilliant reflection light of the undercoating surface 1-a become viewable through the color of the resin 2. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
