titleOfInvention Easily absorbable map composition and preparation containing the same
abstract PURPOSE: To provide the titled composition having excellent absorbability in the body, and useful as an agent for suppressing the mammary cancer and prostatic cancer, by using eugenol, cinnamaldehyde or anethole as an eluent in combination with medroxyprogesterone acetate (MAP). n CONSTITUTION: (A) The MAP of formula (chemical name: 6-α-methyl-17α-hydroxyprogesterone acetate) is dissolved in (B) eugenol, cinnamaldehyde and/or anethole (or in clove oil, cinnamon oil or fennel oil containing the component B as main component) to obtain objective oily composition. The oily MAP composition is administered in the form of being impregnated in or carried to a porous material such as magnesium metasilicate. n EFFECT: The rate and ratio of elution of the hardly soluble MAP can be increased, and the minimum effective dose can be lowered. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
