abstract PURPOSE: A novel delustering agent, consisting of melamine cyanurate as an active constituent, having improved compatibility with a coating material and adhesiveness to a material to be coated, e.g. polyurethane resin sheet, without inhibiting the elasticity, abrasion resistance, etc. of the material to be coated. n CONSTITUTION: A delustering agent for an acrylic coating material, etc. consisting of melamine cyanurate which is an equimolar adduct of cyanuric acid with melamine, etc. as an active constituent. The melamine cyanurate is preferably used in an amount of 3W100pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. resin content of the coating material. n EFFECT: Slip prevention, decorating properties, etc. in addition to the delustering effect can be imparted to the material to be coated. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
