abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain a photopolymerizable composition high in sensitivity and resolution, and good in storage stability, by adding a addition-polymerizable compound and a specified composite photoinitiator. CONSTITUTION:An alkyl derivative of thioxanthone, such as 2-methyl-thioxanthone, 10-1pts.wt. and p-dialkylaminobenzoic acid or its ester, such as isoamyl p-dialkylaminobenzoate, 1-10pts.wt. are mixed and used as a composite photopolymerization initiator. Said benzoic acid or its ester is represented by the formula in which R1, R2 are 1-3C alkyl, and R3 is H or 1-18C alkyl. A photopolymerizable composition is a mixture of (A) a compound having >=1 ethylenically unsaturated double bonds and addition-polymerization ability, such as trimethylolpropane triacrylate, (B) said photoinitiator, (C) other additives, such as binder resin, thermopolymerization inhibitor, or color forming agent, (D) a solvent. |
