titleOfInvention Thermolplastic resin composition
abstract PURPOSE: To provide a resin compsn. having improved coatability and resistance to cold, moisture and weather, by blending a thermoplastic elastomer, a linear satd. polyester resin and a rubber reinforced resin in a specified ratio so as to give a specified flexural modulus. n CONSTITUTION: 10W60pts.wt. thermoplasic elastomer (A), 10W50pts.wt. linear satd. polyester resin (B) and 10W50pts.wt. rubber reinforced resin (C) are blended together in such a proportion that the flexural modulus of the resulting compsn. becomes 12,000kg/cm 2 or below and the combined amount of components A, B and C accounts for 100pts.wt. As said thermoplastic elastomer, polyester polyether block copolymers are particularly preferred. As said linear satd. polyester resin, polyethylene terephthalate and polytetramethylene copolymers are preferred. As component C, rubber reinforced resins consisting of a polymer composed mainly of polybutadiene as the rubber component and a diene polymer, as the resin component, contg. acrylonitril as an essential component, are used. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
