abstract | PURPOSE: To provide a captioned roll which avoids the decrease in the adhesiveness of an adhesive due to the transfer of a plasticizer in a roll base layer by covering a metallic core with the adhesive, further covering it with a hard vinyl chloride resin and then laminating a soft vinyl chloride resin roll base layer thereon. n CONSTITUTION: A metallic core is covered with an adhesive (e.g., nylon resin, etc.), is further covered with a hard vinyl chloride resin (containing less than 50phr of plasticizer), and is laminated with a soft vinyl chloride resin (containing more than 50phr of plasticizer) roll base layer. Thus, the hard vinyl chloride resin is interposed between the adhesive layer and the base layer, thereby avoiding the decrease in the adhesiveness of the adhesive due to the transfer of the plasticizer of the base layer. The gradient of hardness in its radial direction from the base layer to the core material is constructed, thereby alleviating the impact load produced between the adhesive layer and the base layer at the times of starting rotation of the roller and stopping the roller. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio |
