titleOfInvention Photographic element for color diffusion transfer
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain an image rapid in its growth and high in density, by using a silver halide developing solution having a low oxidation reduction potential. n CONSTITUTION: As an alkaline processing composition, (1) a developing solution having -80W-200mV one electron oxidation reduction potential to a saturated calomel electrode at 11.0pH and (2) a compound represented by the general formula I or II shown in the right are used. In the formula, A, B, are each an atomic group for forming a 5W7 membered ring; R 1 , R 2 , R 4 are each alkyl, alkenyl, or aryl group; or R 1 is a compound represented by the right shown general formula III; R 4 is a compound represented by the right shown general formula IV, Y being a divalent group; R 2 is H, alkyl, Aryl, alkoxy, aryloxy, alkylthio, or arylthio; but when the compound represented by the general formula I is a pyridinium salt, R 2 is not methyl; X⊖ is an anion; and R 3 may link with a ring formed with B and form a bicyclic compound as a whole. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
