titleOfInvention | Electrophotographic receptor |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain an electrophotographic receptor high in short wavelength sensitivity and rich in flexibility, by using a specified disazo pigment as an electric charge carrier generator. n CONSTITUTION: A disazo pigment 3 represented by general formula I is used, and photosensitive layer 2 composed of charge carrier generating 5 consisting mainly of disazo pigment 3, and charge transfer layer 6 consisting mainly of a charge transfer substance is laminated on conductive substrate 1 to form a photoreceptor. Thickness of layer 5 is 0.01W5μm, preferably 0.05W2μm, and pigment 3 of particle diameter ≤about 5μm, preferably ≤2μm is used. In formula I, A is formulas II, III, or IV; X is a benzene, naphthalene, indole, carbazole, or benzofuran ring; Ar 1 is a benzene, naphthalene, or dibenzofuran ring; Ar 2 , Ar 3 are each a benzene or naphthalene ring; R 1 , R 3 are H, alkyl, or phenyl; and R 2 is alkyl, carboxyl, or the like. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
