titleOfInvention | Agent for controlling red tide |
abstract | PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition which is harmless to fish and effective to exterminate planktons in a short time, by using granular sodium percarbonate as an effective component, wherein the particle size distribution of said effective component is adjusted according to the distribution of planktons to the direction of depth. n CONSTITUTION: A composition containing granular sodium percarbonate having a bulk specific gravity of 0,7W1.0 as an effective component. The sodium percarbonate is composed of about 10W30wt% each of particles of ≤20mesh, 20W 24mesh, 24W28mesh, 28W42mesh, and ≥42mesh. The agent is effective to control planktons distributed between the water surface and about 6m from the surface. The particles passing a 42mesh sieve, 28W42mesh, 24W28mesh, 20W24mesh, and ≤20mesh are effective to planktons at the water surface W about 1.2m, 1.2W2.4m, 2.4W3.6m, 3.6W4.8m, and ≥4.8m, respectively. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
