titleOfInvention | Polyester monofilament and its production |
abstract | PURPOSE: A polyester containing a bisphenol type polycarbonate is used to effect melt spinning by the use of a usual melt-spinning machine, thus producing the titled monofilament with little heat deterioration without any adverse effect on spinnability. n CONSTITUTION: A polyester containing 1W10wt% of a bisphenol type polycarbonate with a polymerization degree of no less than 10, preferably bisphenol-A polycarbonate, is melt spun at a throughput of 7.5g or more/min/nozzle in the spinneret. The filament is solidified by cooling with a gas, taken up and drawn to produce a monofilament with a fineness of 20 or more, preferably 30W100 denier. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
