titleOfInvention Pigment dispersed liquid
abstract PURPOSE: To impart stability without degrading coating film performance by compounding pigments, an ethylenic unsaturated copolymer which has alkoxysilane groups at side chains and of which the number average mol.wt. is within a specific range, and an organic dispersion medium. n CONSTITUTION: A pigment dispersed liquid prepd. from pigments, an ethylenic unsaturated copolymer which has at least one alkoxysilane groups at side chains and of which the number average mol.wt. is 1,000W100,000 and an organic dispersion medium. Said ethylenic unsaturated copolymer is obtained by the radical copolymer reaction of an alkoxysilane-group-contg. unsaturated monomer such as γ-methacryloxy propyl trimethoxysilane and an ethylenic unsaturated monomer such as styrene or α-methyl styrene. Inorg. pigments such as carbon black, org. pigments such as natural dye-base and nitroso-base pigments, etc. may be used for the pigments. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
