titleOfInvention | Molding method for molded article of plural-layer laminate structure having formed skin layer composed of cloth or leather |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the three-layer laminate molded article whose skin material is formed into a prescribed shape by setting the skin material while making the same fit with a die, by putting thereon foam composition liquid and base material sequentially and then by closing dies for molding. n CONSTITUTION: First the cloth or leather to form the skin material 1 is set with its front surface being faced to the surface of the die so that it gets to fit with the die 4 to some degree. On the occasion, a film of acrylic resin and the like is formed beforehand on the back surface of the skin material 1. When the material is set on the die 4, some form is given to the skin material 1 by thermal forming, including vacuum forming or pressure-air forming, or the skin material is made to fit with the die to some degree by layig the same as it is along the surface of the die. Next, the polyurethane foam composition liquid 2' is injected in the die, the base material 3 formed beforehand is put thereon, the dies 4 and 6 are closed so as for urethane foaming pressure to be applied on to the cloth and thereby the form of the molding surface of the dies is given to the skin material 1, while the molded article wherein the materials are bonded into a laminate is thereby obtained. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
