abstract PURPOSE:To improve extension representative connection service, by transmitting a call signal to an idle extension for a prescribed time and by repeating the similar control for another idle extension in case of no response. CONSTITUTION:When the call is originated from extension A and the incoming to extension representative groups B1-B3 is detected, central control device CC transmits the call signal to idle extension B1 and stores information of idle extension B1 into memory MEMO. If extension B1 does not respond within a prescribed time, device CC takes out information in memory MEMO and selects another idle extension B2. By repeating this operation, connection to idle extensions is performed efficiently.
