PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration and discoloration by sunlight, heat, nitrogen dioxide gas, combustion gas of propane, etc. and stabilize an elastomer composition, by incorporating a specific phenolic compound and an ultraviolet absorber into a modified polyurethane resin. n CONSTITUTION: A modified polyurethane elastomer obtained by reacting an aliphatic polyamide having amino groups at both molecular ends and a low average polymerization degree of 500W8,000 with an organic diisocyanate, a low-molecular chain extender having two groups reactive with the isocyanate groups and a polyhydroxy compound of molecular weight 500W6,000 is incorporated with 0.1W 10wt% phenolic compound expressed by formula I, II or III (R 1 and R 2 are alkyl) and preferably a benzotriazole compound as an ultraviolet light absorber. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
