PURPOSE: A drug pharmaceutical, having improved releasability of a drug, and prepared by forming a mixed layer consisting of a specific high polymer, the drug and an assistant on a carrier. n CONSTITUTION: A drug pharmaceutical, usable by contact with the body, and prepared by forming a mixed layer consisting of a drug, e.g. "Prednisolon" , a poly(meth)acrylic ester, e.g. polymer of methoxyethyl acrylate, having ether linkages in the molecule and a mixing assistant as essential components directly or indirectly on a carrier. The poly(meth)acrylic ester has a low glass transition temperature and such a free volume as to make a high-molecular segment move freely, and the electron donative properties of the ether linkages permit the enhanced diffusion and movement of the drug in the mixture. The high solubility of the drug in the high polymer provides much drug dissolved and retained therein and release of much drug to the skin in a short time. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
