titleOfInvention | Silver halide photographic material |
abstract | PURPOSE:To stably add photographic chemicals to a photosensitive material by adding a compound as a precursor obtd. by reacting a compound having an N- contg. org. base with a sulfamic acid deriv. to a layer of the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:A compound having an N-contg. org. base (salt) or a quat. N atom, e.g., the compound of formula I is reacted with a sulfamic acid deriv. such as H2NSO3H to obtain a precursor compound having the structure of (D)<m+>(X)<m-> (where m is an integer of 1-5), e.g., the compound of formula II. This precursor compound is added to at least one layer of the constituent layers of a silver halide photosensitive material on the support by about 0.1-10mol/mole of silver halide. Since the compound is chemically stable and slightly reacts with silver halide and other additives, the shelf stability and photographic characteristics of the photosensitive material are improved. |
