titleOfInvention Insecticidal and fungicidal agent for wood
abstract PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition having both insecticidal and fungieidal activities, low ordor, and preparable without foaming, by using an aqueous solution of an alkali metal salt of a halogenated phenol, and a boron compound and/or a fluorine compound, as effective components. n CONSTITUTION: The titled composition containing an aqueous solution of an alkali metal salt of a halogenated phenol compound (e.g. sodium salt of 2,4,6,-tribromophenol, 2,4,6-trichlorophenol, etc.), a boron compound (e.g. boric acid, sodium borate, etc.) and/or a fluorine compound (e.g. sodium fluoride, potassium fluoride, etc.), and pref. triethanolamine. The composition is prepared by mixing (A) a 1.5W2.5wt% aqueous solution of boron compound and/or fluorine compound with (B) 10W60wt% of an alkali metal salt of a halogenated phenol and pref. (C) 0.3W 2.5wt% of triethanolamine. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
