PURPOSE:The titled liquid with reduced damage to hair and a waving effect which is improved rather than affected, containing a thioglycollate as a main constituent and an N-acylamino acid or a salt thereof. CONSTITUTION:A liquid for permanent wave in the case of the first liquid in the two-liquid type permanent waving agent prepared by dissolving 15-75w/w% an N-acylamino acid, e.g. N-acetylmethionine, or a salt thereof in an aqueous solution containing 3-7w/w% thioglycolate as a main constituent. The pH of the first liquid is adjusted to about 7-10, and a wetting agent, e.g. propylene glycol, a waving effect enhancer, e.g. urea, a surfactant, e.g. a higher alcohol ether, or various fats or oils may be suitably added to the liquid. |
