titleOfInvention Acylated indole derivative, its preparation, and platelet coagulation inhibiting agent containing the same
abstract NEW MATERIAL:The titled compound of formula I (R1 is H, lower alkyl or acyl; R2 is H or lower alkyl; R3,4 are H, halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower alkylthio, nitro, amino, CF3, OH, etc.; R3 and R4may together form methylenedioxy or ethlenedioxy; phi is aryl or alicyclic group). EXAMPLE:3-Benzoyl-1-(1-methoxy-2-propyl)-2-methylindole. USE:A platelet coagulation inhibiting agent. It is also expected as a compound having an antiinflammatory and fibrinolytic activity. PROCESS:A derivative of tetrahydroacylated indole of formula II (R1' is lower alkyl or acyl) is dehydrogenated to give a compound of formula I (R1 is R1'), or a derivative of tetrahydroacylated indole of formula III (R1'' is acyl) is dehydrogenated and then hydrolyzed to give a compound of formula I (R1 is H).
