titleOfInvention Novel n-substituted phenoxypropylamide compound
abstract NEW MATERIAL:N-Substituted phenoxypropylamide compounds of formula I [R is H, CH 3 , or C 2 H 5 ; Y is 1-pyrrolidinyl, 1-piperidinyl, 1-perhydroazepinyl and 1- perhydroazocinyl which may have substitution groups (OH or CH 2 OH); Z is H, or CH 3 or C 2 H 5 which may have substitution groups (OH or NH 2 ); provided that R is C 2 H 5 when Y is unsubstituted 1-pyrrolidinyl] and their salts. n EXAMPLE: N-[3-[3-(1-piperidinylmethyl)phenoxy]propyl] formamide. n USE: Antiulcerative agents having excellent inhibitory activity of gastric acid secretion owing to the antagonistic activity to histamine H 2 -acceptor. n PROCESS: A compound of formula I is obtained by the reaction of novel compound of formula II and a compound of formula Z-COOH or their reactive derivatives. The compound of formula II can be obtained by the reaction of a compound of formula III with a compound of formula Y'-H(Y' is non-substituted Y). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
