titleOfInvention Antifouling treating composition for aquatic body
abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition of the aqueous dispersion type, having improved long-term adhesivity, antifouling effect, water resistance and easily coated, and comprising paraffin, etc. having a specific acid value, a paraffin hydrocarbon, and rosin and if necessary a rubber latex, etc. n CONSTITUTION: A composition of the aqueous dispersion type comprising (A) a reaction product of an oxidized paraffin wax, polyethylene oxide or a polyolefin wax having an acid value of 10W120 and a melting point of 40W150°C with an unsaturated dibasic acid or a montan wax having an acid value of 80W150 and a melting point of 70W90°C, (B) a paraffin hydrocarbon and/or natural wax having a melting point of 30W110°C, (C) rosin, rosin ester dammar rubber or asphalt, or further (D) a rubber latex at a weight ratio of A:B:C of 3W50:45W67:5W30. The composition has improved long-term adhesivity, antifouling effect, ability to impart the swelling property to a coated surface and water resistance, and is easily applied to the surface. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
