abstract | PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition having both insectional and fungicidal activities by combining an insecticidal organo-phosphate compound having CH 3 O- or CH 3 S- group bonded directly to P atom and an acid addition salt of 5-methyl-s- triazolo[3,4-b]-benzothiazole. n CONSTITUTION: A pesticidal composition containing (A) an insecticidal organo- phosphate compound of formula I or formula II (-OCH 3 group in each formula may be replaced with -SCH 3 group), e.g. 0,0-dimethyl-0-(3-methyl-4-nitrophenyl) thiophosphate and (B) an acid addition salt of 5-methyl-s-triazole[3,4-b]benzothiazole. The use of the component (B) as an acid addition salt ensures the stability of the (B) component even in the presence of the (A) component. The mixture exhibits the effect of the component (B), i.e. extermination of vermins such as planthoppers and leafhoppers, as well as that of the component (A), i.e. control of rice blast, etc. It can be applied in the form of dust, wettable powder, granule, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
