NEW MATERIAL:A pyrazolecarboxamide derivative expressed by formula I [R 1 is straight chain alkyl of C n H 2n (n is an integer 1W15); R 2 is CH 2 CH 2 X (X is OH or lower alkoxyl) or formula II]. n EXAMPLE: N-(2'-Hydroxyethyl)-5-n-nonylpyrazole-3-carboxamide. n USE: A medicine having improved antilipemic action. n PROCESS: An enolate sodium salt of formula III and hydrazine sulfate are heated in a solution of NaOH for 2W3hr under refluxing, and then treated with thionyl chloride to give a 5-alkylpyrazole-3-carboxylic acid chloride of formula IV, which is then reacted with an amine derivative of the formula NH 2 -R 2 or hydrochloride thereof in the presence of triethylamine in a dichloroethane solution to give the compound of formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
