PURPOSE: To improve the adherability and the various performances of the coating film of the titled compsn., by a method wherein an acrylic copolymer and a chlorinated polyolefin modified by a monoethylenically unsaturated monomer contg. carboxyl gp., are blended with a polyepoxy cpd., or an epoxy resin. n CONSTITUTION: (I) An acrylic copolymer derived from 0.2W30wt% of a basic nitrogen-contg. acrylic monomer, 35W99.8wt% of an ester derived from (meth)acry acid and an aliph. monohydric alcohol or a mixt. of esters and the balance of a monoethylenically unsaturated monomer copolymerizable therewith, and (II) a chlorinated polyolefin modified by a carboxyl gp.-contg. monoethylenically unsaturated monomer, are blended with (III) a cpd. having at least two epoxy gp. in the molecule or an epoxy resin in a blending ratio of (I)/(II) and (I)/(III) of 98/2W 30/70 to obtain a coating compsn. When this compsn. is used, a coating film having excellent adhesive properties particularly to a polyolefin resin can be obtd. by one-coat finish. Film performances such as gasoline resistance, solvent resistance and alkali resistance are improved. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
