titleOfInvention Lodge-preventing agent
abstract PURPOSE: To prepare a lodge-preventing agent for foliar treatment use, containing a triazole derivative and a phenoxycarboxylic acid, its salt or its ester, and useful for increasing the harvest at a small amount of application, by the cooperative and synergistic effect of the components. n CONSTITUTION: A lodge-preventing agent containing a triazole derivative of formula (X is halogen; n is 1W2), (e.g. a compound of formula II), and a phenoxycarboxylic acid (e.g. 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid), its salt or its ester, as effective component. The agent can be applied not only by the water-surface treatment but also by foliar treatment. The necessary amount of the effective component can be reduced, and the culm length of the crop can be shortened in desired extent. The length of ear is independent to the application of the agent. The harvest can be increased without phytotoxicity to the culturing plant. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
