titleOfInvention | Multilayer chemical analysis material for analysis of water liquid |
abstract | PURPOSE: To enable achievement of a stable analyzing performance showing high accuracy by constituting a reagent layer into a single or multiple layers by a hydrophilic binder and thereby attaining color development which is not changed with time, excellent in photofading property and stable in color tone. n CONSTITUTION: The reagent layer 21 is formed by coating a light-transmitting and water-permeable supporting body with the hydrophilic binder which is made to contain a lake color-leading substance, urease and the metallic salt of lake and a buffer agent which does not hinder the activity of urease and thereon a photomaking layer 41 and a porous developed layer 31 are laminated. When a droplet of blood, for instance, as a water liquid sample is attached to the developed layer 31 from the direction A, the blood expands evenly and reaches the reagent layer 21 and urea is dissolved into NH 3 with the urease. And according to the quantity of produced NH 3 the lake color-leading substance changes its color and forms a lake color, and by measuring the degree of formation of the lake color from the direction B the quantity of urea is quantified. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
