PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. in which processability is improved without lowering the mechanical properties and the thermal properties of a styrene resin, by a method wherein a specified arom. polyester having a low polymn. degree is blended with the styrene resin. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of a styrene resin (A) (e.g. a polystyrene or an ABS resin) is mixed with 0.05-10pts.wt. of an arom. polyester (B) having a low polymn. degree, a softening point of 60-250 deg.C and a number-average MW of 500-10,000, in which at least 75mol% of the dibasic acid component is an arom. dicarboxylic acid (e.g. terephthalic acid), to obtain the titled compsn. EFFECT:Fabrication temperature can be lowered. In injection molding, injection pressure can also be reduced. |
