PURPOSE: The titled composition with slight phytotoxicity comprising an organic phosphorus insecticidal compound as an active constituent and an animal or vegetable fat or oil, a fatty acid obtained by saponifying the fat or oil and a nonionic surfactant derived from the hydrogenation product thereof. n CONSTITUTION: The titled composition comprising (A) an organic phosphorus insecticidal compound and an animal fat or oil or wax, e.g. whale oil, beef tallow, lanolin, cotton seed wax, (B) a fatty acid or higher alcohol obtained by saponifying the constituent (A), e.g. beef tallow fatty acid or lanolin alcohol, and (C) a nonionic surfactant derived from the hydrogenation product of the constituent (A) or (B), e.g. hardened castor oil, and having an HLB of 12W20. The composition is capable of reducing the phytotoxicity to crops remarkably without reducing the insecticidal activity by adding the surfactant.
