titleOfInvention Method for imparting enzyme activity to solid surface
abstract PURPOSE: To impart the enzyme activity to a solid surface through a simple means, by forming an unreacted film of a polymer containing an acid anhydride group and a polyol on a solid surface, and linking the unreacted anhydride group to an enzyme. n CONSTITUTION: A polymer containing an acid anhydride group is reacted with a polyol on a solid surface to form a film having the group of the unreacted acid anhydride. The unreacted acid anhydride group on the film is then linked to an enzyme to impart the enzyme activity to the solid surface. A powder, bead, film, membrane, fiber or cloth may be cited as the solid surface, and maleic anhydride- ethylene copolymer may be cited as the polymer having the acid anhydride group. The treatment by the enzyme solution is carried out preferably at -10 to 60°C, more preferably 0W50°C. The treating time is preferably 10min to 72hr, more preferably 20min to 48hr. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
