titleOfInvention | Extermination of bursaphelenchus lignicolus |
abstract | PURPOSE: In subjecting the root sphere of a pine tree to soil treatment with an organic phosphorus agent, ethylthiomethone, to exterminate Bursaphelenchus Lignicolus safely and effectively, by treating it dividedly not less than twice in fall and next spring or more in such a way that a total amount of the treatment comes to a specific value. n CONSTITUTION: The root sphere of a pine tree is subjected to soil treatment with an organic phosphorus agent, ethylthiomethone [0,0 ditheyl-S-2-(ethylthio)ethylphosphorodithioate] devidedly not less than twice in fall treatment and next spring treatment or more in such a way that a total amount based on 10cm diameter of a pine tree root comes to 50W150g, so that the pine tree root absorbs ethylthiomethone to exterminate Bursarhelenchus Lignicolus. Since in this method an amount of agent of one treament is small, there is no fear of residue of the agent in the soil and effluence, and it is safe. In fall the pine tree root absorbs the agent especially well, so it is effective, and since the application of almost all the agent in a season when it rains little is possible, this method is safe with respect to the effluence of the gent. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
