titleOfInvention Purification of orthophosphate ester for electrical insulation
abstract PURPOSE: After specific rectification and adsorption treatment, an orthophosphate ester is diluted with an aromatic insulation oil and they are deaerated and dehydrated, thus being purified through simple process to such a high level that it can be satisfactorily used as an electrical insulation oil. n CONSTITUTION: An orthophosphate ester is subjected to rectification where the rectification effect equivalent to 5 or more theoretical plate is obtained and the initial fraction the residue are excluded by more than 2wt%, preferably about 5wt%, based on the total amount of the feed. Then, it is subjected to adsorption treatment by passing it through a column filled with an adsorbent and/or an electrophoretic adsorber and diluted with an aromatic insulation oil such as diisopropylnaphthalene. The mixture is deaerated and dehydrated by means of a rotary evaporator to produce the purified orthophosphate ester for electrical insulation oil. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
