titleOfInvention Curable emulsion composition
abstract PURPOSE: Titled composition, giving a flexible coat with smooth surface and useful as a joint mixture, a spraying material, etc. which is prepared by compounding portland cement with an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion containing PVA as a protective colloid. n CONSTITUTION: 1W90pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. of a solid resin in the following emulsion, of a portland cement is compounded, with an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion of average particle size 0.3W1μ, solid resin concentration 20W 60wt% and vinyl acetae content 70W90wt%, prepared by using, as a protective colloid, 1W10wt%, based on the vinyl acetate, of a PVA of average polymerization degree 300W2,500 and average saponification degree 80W97. n EFFECT: Said composition has an adequate serviceable life and good processability, and is suitable as an in-place application material. n USE: A caulking material, a binder for a shock-absorbing material for an all-weather court, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
