titleOfInvention Oxazolidine derivative, its preparation, and acaricide
abstract NEW MATERIAL:3-Cyclohexylcarbamoyl-trans-{4-methyl-5-(methylphenyl)}2- oxazolidone shown by the formula I. n USE: An acaricide. Effective against tetranychids living upon various kinds of plants, e.g., two-spotted spider mite, citurs red mite. etc. Especially in stages of nit, larva and early age of various kinds of nits, the acaricide exhibits improved nit-, larva-, and young mite killing effect. Having a low toxicity to warm-blooded animal and high safety. n PROCESS: For example, trans-{4-methyl-5-(methylphenyl)}-2-oxazolidone shown by the formula II is reacted with cyclohexyl isocyanate in an organic solvent, e.g., toluene, tetrahydrofuran, etc. in the presence of catalyst, e.g., DUB(1,8-diazabicyclo (5,4,0) undecene-7) at 0°C to room temperature, to give a compound shown by the formula I. The starting compound shown by the formula II is novel substance, which can be obtained readily from a compound shown by the formula III as a rwa material. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
