titleOfInvention Preparation of l-glutamic acid by fermentation
abstract PURPOSE: To prepare L-glutamic acid with good productivity, by cultivating a specific dissociant belonging to the genus Brevibacterium or Corynebacterium. n CONSTITUTION: A variant, e.g., Brevibacterium lactrofermentrum (AJ 11426, FERM-P 5123), belonging to the genus Brevibacterium, or Corynebacterium glutamicum (AJ 11440, FERM-P 5137), belonging to the genus Corynebacterium, having resistance to respiration inhibitor or ADP phosphorylation inhibitor, capable of producing L-glutamic acid, is inoculated on a medium comprising ordinary carbon source, nitrogen source, inorganic ion, other nutrient, and cultivated aerobically in pH6W8 at 30W40°C to form and accumulate L-glutamic acid, which is collected. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
