titleOfInvention Production of composition of complex gradually releasing physiologically active substance
abstract PURPOSE: An adsorbent containing a physiologically active substance and the same or another physiologically active substance are mixed, the mixture is dispersed in a vinyl polymerizable monomer and the monomer is polymerized to produce the titled substance showing long-termed physiological activity when the same substance is used or changing activities with time when different physiologically active substances are empolyed. n CONSTITUTION: A mixture of an inorganic adsorbent containing a physiologically substance such as bleomycin hydrochloride, hypotensor or aqricultural chemical with the same or different physiologically active substance is dispersed in a vinyl polymerizable monomer such as hydroxyethyl methacrylate containing a synthetic high polymer such as polystyrene. The resulting dispersion is kept in a prescribed form and polymerized by irradiation with ionizing rays at 20W100°C to give the title substance. Instead of the adsorbent containing a physiologically active substance, a cruhed vinyl polymer containing one kind of physiologically active substance may be empolyed. When one physiologically active substance is used, the active period is extended and, when many kinds are empolyed, each effect reveals at different timings. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
