abstract | NEW MATERIAL:Trihalopropane derivative of formula I (R 1 is lower alkyl; X is halogen; A is carbonyl, sulfonyl). n EXAMPLE: N-(1-n-Butyloxy-3,3,3,-trichloropropyl)phthalimide. n USE: Fungicide for agriculture and horticulture: they have antifungal activity and show excellent controlling effect on various kinds of pest fungi causing plant diseases.
