| abstract | PURPOSE:To reduce the required time per one part of the automatic welding sequence with a simple handling, by performing the welding point matching with the movement of the two axis orthogonal auxiliary arm on the manipulator main arm and performing welding with the revolution of the optical system of the welding head on the auxiliary arm. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam from the CO2 laser oscillator 1 is fed to the adjusting mirror 2 and the mirror 3 on the manipulator 4 the automatic welding of the pipe plate 15 and many pipes 14 such as, heat exchanger. This laser beam passes in the hollow cylinder of the main arm 18 fixed, and is reflected on the X, Y axis mirrors 11, 12 of the auxiliary arm and the mounted mirror 10, is condensed at the lens 13 of the welding head, and is welded by irradiating the welded part of the pipe and the pipe plate. The lens 13 is shifted from the laser light axis and rotated around the laser light axis, allowing the circumference welding of the pipe 14. |
