titleOfInvention | Purification of glutathioneperoxidase |
abstract | PURPOSE: To purify glutathioneperoxidase in high purity without losing fermentation activity, by using the blood of mammals as a raw material, and combining several kinds of chromatography treatment. n CONSTITUTION: A blood corpusche obtained from the blood of mammals as a raw material is treated so that fats and oils are removed and a coloring matter is removed. The product is then subjected to adsorption treatment using dextran ion exchange resin, preferably DEAE-Cephadex A 50 and concentration treatment by gel filtration to give a crude solution, which is subjected to adsorption treatment using agarose thiol exchange resin, preferably active thiol-Sepharose 4B, eluted with a glutathione-containing sodium-phosphate buffer solution, and lyophilized. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
