titleOfInvention | Preparation of s-sulfonated immunoglobulin rich in monomer |
abstract | PURPOSE: To prepare the titled compound having lowered anticomplementary value and suppressed side effects, by adding a salt of a specific organic compound to a solution of S-slulfonated immunoglobulin containing agglutinated material. n CONSTITUTION: A solution of S-sulfonated immunoglobulin containing agglutinated material, is mixed with 10W600wt%, based on the S-sulfonated immunoglobulin, of a water-soluble salt of a nitrogen-containing organic base having a dissociation index (pKb) of ≥7, e.g. l-arginie hydrochloride, and D-glucosamine hydrochloride, to dissociated the agglutinated material into monomers and to obtain the objective S-sulfonated immunoglobulin rich in monomer. The addition of the water-soluble salt is effective to dissociate the agglutinated material rapidly into the monomers, and to reduce the anticomplimentary value for a long period. The lowering of the anticomplimentary value prevents the anaphylactic side effects accompanied with lowering of blood pressure, algor and pyrexia. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio |
