titleOfInvention Submarine repeater buffer
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a submarine relay buffer which is easily packaged with excellent radiation and has adjustable buffer effect, by constituting the buffer of a submarine relay by sealing high-pressure air in an airtight bag that has a lamination of metal fiber on the outside surface of an airtight film made of a thin metal film, etc. CONSTITUTION:Between waterproof, airtight container 11 whose outside surface comes into contact with sea water and inside stop ring 12, relay electric circuit 13 is provided through cylindrical, radius-directional buffer 14 and two ring-shaped, axial buffers 15. As for buffers 14 and 15, rubber films 18 and 19 are stacked on external surfaces of airtight films 16 and 17 made of a thin metal film and high-pressure air sealing intakes are provided at fixed positions of reinforced airtight bags 22 and 23 having metal fibers 20 and 21 stacked on the external surfaces so as to charge high-pressure air adequately through the intakes. Rubber films 18 and 19, when applied with external impact force, deform properly to improve the buffer effect.
