titleOfInvention Remedy for dermatomycosis for external use
abstract PURPOSE: To prepare the titled remedy effective to athlete's foot, favus, etc., by the use of N-acyl hydrolyzed peptide and an antimicrobial agent as main components. n CONSTITUTION: The titled remedy containing (A) N-acyl hydrolyzed peptide (the carbon number of the acyl group is 8W20, and the molecular weight of the hydrolyzed peptide is 200W5,000; e.g. 30% aqueous solution of N-cocoyl hydrolyzed peptide) and (B) an antimicrobial agent (i.e. normal antibacterial agent, a antimould agent, and antifungal agent; e.g. salicylic acid and tolnaftate) as main components. The N-acyl hydrolyzed peptide is a high safety anionic surface active agent used in shampoo and detergent. The combined use of the compound with an antimicrobial agent gives synergistic effect against dermatophytes. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
