titleOfInvention Puncture-protection sealant for tire
abstract PURPOSE: A sealant having excellent adhesion and strength without deterioration of sealing properties at a high temperature for a long period of time, which is prepared by mixing a glycidyl group-containing acrylic copolymer with a monocarboxylic acid and a tertiary amine in a specified proportion. n CONSTITUTION: A sealant, which contains (A) a glycidyl group-containing acrylic copolymer, containing (a) 2-ethylhexyl acrylate and/or n-butyl acrylate, and (b) a glycidyl group-containing acrylic compound and/or a glycidyl group-containing vinyl compound, (B) a monocarboxylic acid and (C) a tertiary amine, in such a proportion that (1) at least one equivalent of component (B), per equivalent of the glycidyl group in component (A), is contained, and (2) in component (B) and (C), 0.2≤ number of COOH in component (B)/number of N in component (C)≤1. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
