titleOfInvention Observation unit and observing cell for form of dispersed phase particle of dispersion system under high pressure
abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to observe accurately the emulsion particles of rolling oil by slowing down the flow of a sample by operating and stopping a sampling pump provided to the bypass of a liquid supply pipe for the rolling oil. CONSTITUTION:From rolling-oil supply pipe 1, a sample is sucked to sampling pump Ps by way of reverse washing system B and then the sample is returned to pipe 1 by way of return flow pipe 3 and liquid sampling pipe 5. Liquid sampling pipe 5 is provided with cell C for observation and pipe 5 is so arranged that its terminal opening part 6 will face to the upstream. Removal system D for iron powder, etc., is provided. As pump Ps is stopped, reverse flow is generated from opening part 6 to pipe 3. Because of forward flow with pump Ps in operation and the reverse flow, no particle is deposited or sticking in the flow passage of cell C and the flow is slowed down. In this state, photographing or microscope observation with cell C makes it possible to observe accurately the action of emulsion particles.
