titleOfInvention Preparation of coenzyme q10
abstract PURPOSE: To prepare coenzyme Q 10 efficiently, by cultivating a microorganisum belonging to the genus "Aureobacidium" or "Trichosporon" in a medium containing highly concentrated p-hydroxybenzoic acid. n CONSTITUTION: A microorganism belonging to the genus "Aureobacidium", e.g., "Aureobacidium" sp. No.14 strain (FERM-P No.4197) is cultivated in a medium containing 1,000W4,000μg/ml p-hydroxybenzoic acid at 20W37°C in pH3.5W10 under aerobic conditions for 20W80hr, or one belonging to the genus "Trichosporon", e.g., "Trichosporon" sp. WY2-2 (FERM-P5500) is cultivated in a medium containing 250W1,000μg/ml p-hydroxybenzoic acid at 20W37°C in pH3.5W10 under aerobic conditions for 20W80hr, to collect coenzyme Q 10 from the culture. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
