titleOfInvention Composition for synthetic brake material
abstract PURPOSE:To provide the high-quality, easily-available titled composition for friction stabilizing material of synthetic brake, consisting of a three-dimensional solid obtained by homogeneously mixing a thermosetting resin and a condensate prepared by the dehydration reaction of a polyalkylene polyamine, a specific unsaturated fatty acid and a dimer acid. CONSTITUTION:The objective three-dimensional solid composition obtained by heating, at >=150 deg.C, a homogeneous mixture of (A) a thermosetting resin and (B) a condensed product obtained by the dehydration reaction of 1mol of a dimer acid with (a) a mixture of 1mol of a polyalkylene polyamine (e.g. triethylenetetramine) and 2-4mol of a C16, C18 or C22 unsaturated fatty acid or (a') a mixture of 2mol of a polyalkylene polyamine and 2-8mol of a C16, C18 or C22 unsaturated fatty acid. The amounts of the eliminated water are 2-5mol and 4-10mol for the mixtures (a) and (a'), respectively, and the dehydration reaction temperature is >=150 deg.C. The component (B) has the structure of formula (R is C17 alkyl ester of a C18 unsaturated fatty acid), etc., and its amount is pref. 5-90wt% of the component (A).
