titleOfInvention Production of solar heat absorbing body
abstract PURPOSE:To produce a solar heat absorbing body provided with selective absorptivity of high efficiency by subjecting a backing material having copper or copper alloy surfaces to chemical conversion treatment with a treating soln. contg. chloric acid compounds, hydroxide of group Ia metals and a silver compound. CONSTITUTION:A backing material having surfaces of copper or copper alloy is subjected to chemical conversion treatment by using the treating soln. consisting of dissolving or suspending the 1st component consisting of one or more kinds selected from perchloric acid compounds, chloric acid compounds, chlorous acid compounds, and hypochlorous acid compounds, the 2nd component consisting of one or more kinds selected from the hydroxide of metals belonging to the group Ia of the periodic table, and the 3rd component consisting of a silver compound. Then, the selective absorbing film consisting of copper oxide or copper oxide contg. the silver component is formed on the surfaces of the backing material. This absorption film is the film of superior selective absorptive performance which is good in absorption of solar energy and causes less heat radiation in infrared regions.
