abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition for coating having improved heat stability, by blending a resin containing hydroxyl groups with a boron compound containing hydroxyl groups or diboron trioxide. n CONSTITUTION: The object composition is obtained by blending a resin (A) containing hydroxy groups having a hydroxy value of 10 or more with a boron compound (B) containing hydroxy groups or diboron trioxide. Resins containing hydroxyl groups include saturated polyester resin, unsaturated polyester resin, acrylic resin, epoxy resin, etc. Boron compounds containing hydroxyl groups include methylboronic acid, triethylboroxine, etc. A boron compound of component B is used in an amount of 0.2W20pts.wt., based on 100pts.wt. resin containing hydroxyl groups of component A. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
