titleOfInvention Fuel for diesel engine
abstract PURPOSE: A fuel for diesel engine having improved compatibility and sprayability free from abnormal combustion, obtained by blending an alcohol with gas oil and castor oil in specific ratios respectively. n CONSTITUTION: (A) 0W80 (Vol)% 1W3C Alcohol(preferably ethanol) is blended with (B) 10W50% gas oil obtained by fractional distillation from petroleum at 200W350°C, and (C) 10W50% castor oil or higher fatty acid ester, to give the desired fuel for diesel engine. The fittest blending ratio is 30W70% component A, 20W40% component B, and 10W30% component C. Water content in the component A is preferably ≤3wt%, and, more preferably ≤1wt%. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
